International student scholarship updates
When students apply for an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate degree, they are automatically assessed for a range of scholarships which offer a percentage off the tuition fee. However, some scholarships have additional application requirements, excluded programs, and terms and conditions that must be met to be eligible. View the available scholarships below:

Adelaide Academic Excellence Scholarship (50%): This scholarship is open to students with a high distinction average and has limited places with competitive application process (applications will open in mid-2025).

Adelaide Emerging Leaders Award (25%): This scholarship is automatically assessed and awarded to students with a distinction average.
•
Adelaide Merit Scholarship (15%): This scholarship is automatically assessed and awarded to students with a credit average.
•
Adelaide Global Alumni Scholarship (10%): This scholarship is automatically assessed and awarded to eligible students.
•
Adelaide Partner Award (10%): This scholarship is automatically assessed and awarded to students from an approved Adelaide University partner institution.

We begin 2025 with the launch of more programs across popular disciplines such as Allied Health, Midwifery, Oral Health, and Law, along with a wide range of double degrees. We have also released a suite of redesigned research degrees, including a fast-tracked Master of Research designed to attract diverse candidates from around the world. There are more than 400 graduate research projects to choose from, including areas like sustainable energy transition, defence, the global space economy, personal and societal health, high tech, agriculture and advanced manufacturing, and creative and cultural exploration. Regional Managers will be in touch soon to provide program training and support.
We are pleased to announce Mrs Shirley Chung as the Executive Director, Future Students at Adelaide University.
Shirley will play a key role in driving student recruitment and growth, continuing to foster meaningful global partnerships and supporting Adelaide University's commitment to excellence and equity.
Shirley says, "I am thrilled to take on the role at the new Adelaide University and look forward to bringing the two amazing teams together to drive transformative change and reach new heights of success.""
Shirley has over 20 years of experience in higher education and previously held leadership positions at the University of Adelaide, the University of Queensland and Queensland University of Technology. Shirley currently serves as a member of the Australian Universities International Directors' Forum (AUIDF) and Deputy Chair, International Education Association of Australia (IEAA) Data Group.
Further senior staff appointments will be announced throughout 2025.
