UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS UPDATES

Admitted Student Next Steps

Confirmation Deadline: June 1, 2024, 5:00PM EST
The official confirmation deadline has been extended to June 1, 5:00PM EST; however, it is imperative that students confirm as soon as possible to secure their preferred housing option and have time for the I-20 and visa issuing processes. Encourage your students to confirm without delay to gain access to portals with instruction on housing, immigration, finances, orientation, and scheduling classes.

CCM Admissions and Scholarships
Admission decisions have been released for all students who applied for CCM in mid-March. Scholarships are still under review and should be released in the next few weeks.

Housing Deadline: June 4, 2024, 5:00PM EST
For undergraduate students who have been admitted and accepted their offer of admission, the housing application is now open! All first-year international students are required to live on campus, and this application should be completed as soon as possible for priority selection of available options.

Admitted Students Next Steps: Recording Available
UC International Admissions recently hosted an Admitted Students Next Steps Webinar. Topics covered included the new student portal, tips from current international students, and more. If your students missed it or were unable to attend, they can sign up for a later webinar. We are also happy to provide a previous recording on our YouTube page.

Application Changes: Major Changes, Deferrals and Cancellations
If any of your students would like to change their major, please have them submit the request through the Bearcat Portal. If any of your students have determined that they will not be able to attend the University of Cincinnati beginning in the Fall 2024 session, please advise the territory manager or our office at International.Admissions@uc.edu for deferrals and cancellations.

GRADUATE ADMISSIONS UPDATES

Decision Turnaround Time
Decision turnaround time varies greatly by program. If students have questions about their admission decision or decision timeline, we recommend contacting the program they applied to.

NACES Evaluation Requirement
All international students who confirm enrollment for Fall 2024 are required to submit an official NACES member transcript evaluation (unless their degree was completed at a US college or university). A document-by-document or general evaluation must be sent directly to UC from a NACES organization. This is due by the first day of classes for the Fall term. More information can be found on the Graduate Transcript Submission Policy Website.

Applications Open
Summer 2025 applications for graduate programs are now open. The link to the application can be found on our Admission Requirements page.

*Fall 2025 applications will open for all undergraduate and graduate programs on August 1.
