美-辛辛那提大学-2024年8月简讯：秋季本科重要日期/2025年本科申请费减免

• August 1: Any first-year students not enrolled for Fall 2024 classes will have assignments and/or housing applications cancelled. Graduate students have until the first day of classes to register but early registration is encouraged.  

• August 19: Meal plan service begins 

• August 20-22: First-year housing move-in 

• August 26: Fall 2024 classes begin! 

If students living on campus need to move in before August 20, requests can be made through the housing portal. Please check the University Housing website for more information about move-in.

Other Important Dates and Deadlines

Students must complete their tuition payments by August 21. The university offers a semester payment plan for those students wishing to spread their remaining term balance across three (3) monthly installment payments.  
 

Incoming students must arrive to the United States by August 25. 

Students can pick up a free SIM card for their phone at the UC International office in-person. 
 

Students can also use the Airport Executive Shuttle to schedule transport from CVG (Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Airport) to the University of Cincinnati. Instructions are shared after the Immigration Documents e-form in iBearcatsGlobal is approved. 

Prospective Undergraduate Student Information

Undergraduate Application Fee Waivers 

The Common Application for the 2025 admissions cycle is open August 1 for all student types, all campuses, and all 2025 terms! 

Application fee waivers are available for all Undergraduate students on the following dates: 

• August 1 to August 8 

• October 18 to October 20 

• November 1 to November 14 

No code is required for the application fee waiver. Students must select the “waiver” option as their response to the fee payment question in the application. 
 

Spring 2025 Applications 

Initial decisions will be released on August 19th and then rolling until November 18th. The confirmation deadline is December 1.

The UC Graduate Admissions Application is open August 1 for all graduate programs for Fall 2025! The Spring and Summer 2025 applications will open later in the year. Currently, application fee waivers are not offered for graduate applicants.  
 

The Spring 2025 application is currently open. Please note that a limited selection of programs accept new students for Spring start. Popular programs for international students that accept new students in the Spring are Accounting Masters, Finance Masters, Information Technology Masters, Mathematical Sciences Masters, Pharmaceutical Sciences Masters and Doctoral, Public Health Masters, and Statistics Masters.  
 

The University of Cincinnati is playing a major role in a groundbreaking scientific project to sequence RNA, a molecule crucial for genetic information sharing in cells. This ambitious plan, like the Human Genome Project but more challenging, aims to sequence RNA within the next 15 years. Leading this initiative at UC is Patrick Limbach, the university's Vice President for Research.
