英-奇切斯特大学-UNIVERSITY OF CHICHESTER UPDATE: February 2025

Dear Partner,

I hope you’re well and that the New Year has got off to a flying start for you.

With 2025 now well underway, I thought this would be a good time to reach out with some updates (bullet-pointed, as always, for conciseness!) - and also to make a request.

Here’s what I’ll be covering in this email:

·      Subject-specific on-line counsellor training

·      MBA start dates

·      Early Bird Discount – an update

·      New programme for 2025: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science    

·      Our social media

·      Counsellor training – our various departments and institutes are keen to provide on-line, subject-specific counsellor training, offering insights from course leads into what makes our programmes distinctive, how they’re taught and assessed, career outcomes etc, and we’re currently offering sessions in these areas:

o  Nursing (with a focus on our BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing)

o  Law

o  Psychology

o  Creative Design Technologies (Film Technologies, Animations, VFX etc)

o  Sports (including our popular BSc (Hons) Football Coaching and Performance).

·      MBA dates. Our Business School has released the start dates for its Graduate and Executive MBA programmes: the 16^th October 2025 and 30^th January 2026. Applications are open now via the web pages for the October intake.

·      Early bird discount – correction   In my last email I said that applicants will be eligible for the Early Bird discount when they go Firm and pay their deposit. They will be eligible when they go Firm but they won’t need to have paid their deposit at this early stage to be eligible. A reminder that the deadline for the Early Bird discount is 30^th April and that the fee reduction is £1,500 for undergraduate courses and £1,000 for postgraduate courses.

·      New programme for 2025: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science     This new hands-on course equips students with the real-life skills employers are looking for in the field of biomedical science. Students will have access to brand-new purpose-built laboratory facilities with state-of-the-art equipment. Modules include: Cell Biology and Microbiology, Physiological Systems, Molecular Genetics, Immunology, Haematology,  Transfusion, Cellular and Molecular Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Genetics, Medical Microbiology, and Applied Biomedical Skills.
