Charles Sturt University Deadline for Session 1 2025

Dear  Partner,

On behalf of all of us at Charles Sturt University, I'd like to wish you and your team a very happy new year and thank you for your continued support.

As you'll be aware, the deadline is fast approaching for Semester one 2025 however there is still time for students to progress and accept their offers.

Thanks to Ministerial Direction 111 (MD 111), we expect that all students who enrol in Charles Sturt University for Semester one 2025 will now receive 'Priority 1 – High' priority Student visa processing.  As a result of this, we have been able to extend key deadlines for offshore students with the following revised deadlines now in place:

• New applications – must be received by 17 January 2025

• Genuine Student documentation – must be received no later than 24 January 2025

• Offer acceptance and CoE issuance – deadline of 31 January 2025

While Charles Sturt students should receive quicker visa processing as a result of MD 111, we strongly urge that all offers be progressed and accepted as soon as possible in order to provide the best chance of securing a timely arrival in Australia.  We also strongly urge that visa applications be lodged as early as possible and with complete documentation in line with Department of Home Affairs guidance: DHA - Lodge now, lodge complete
