Dear Colleague,  We would like to inform you that the advance fee deposit payment to request aa CAS for visa purposes has been raised to £4,000. This decision was confirmed by the Colleges Senior Management team and is in place from the 1st of May 2024:Any students that paid their deposit before the 1st of May based on last  year’s CAS deposit of £3,000, will not need to pay an extra £1,000 and  we will process their CAS request.Any students that paid or  will pay after the 1st of May, will be requested to meet the £4,000  deposit in order for us to process their CAS request.Communications regarding the CAS process have already started going out, you can find the main information below:CAS Process Detailed guidance can be found online explaining each step in the CAS process. 什么是online pre-enrolment? online pre-enrolment是学生在来goldsmiths前必须要做的线上注册。因为只有在注册之后，学校才会给各位发送关于学生卡，邮箱，wifi账号和密码(我知道对于大家来说这个最重要)。登陆mygoldsmiths根据系统提示完成注册就可以了。 问：为什么我没有收到goldsmiths的邮箱账号和密码? 答：因为没有完成线上注册。只要完成线上注册后，系统会把账号和密码发给各位。但如果没有收到也不用慌，到校注册现场会有咨询的部门。 问：如何完成线上注册? 答：大家应该会在注册时用的邮箱里收到相关的链接，但是如果没有找到邮件的小伙伴，可以直接前往mygoldsmiths，登陆注册时用的账户和密码进入系统就可以了。如果有小伙伴是通过ucas申请的，只需要去mygoldsmiths注册一个账号就可以了。 什么是到校注册Personal enrolment? Personal enrolment属于学生必须要参加的到校注册。每一个专业都不一样，学生需要查询自己的注册时间。(点击阅读原文，就可以进入链接啦) 注册地址：Goldsmiths大堂，Richard Hoggart Building. 到校注册需要提供英文原版文件(中文需要翻译，也不接受复印件) 护照passport 签证visa：brp。如果brp是到校领取，则需要提供领取的证明信或者visa delivery code。如果学生的brp不是寄到学校的，学校则需要在到校注册前到相应的地址领取你的brp。 学费证明发票。Pay tuition fees or show proof of private sponsorship 必须提供申请时所提交的毕业证书和学术成绩单。Show proof of qualifications, original certificates or transcript of results。 问：学生卡什么时候可以领取? 答：当你完成到校注册后，就可以直接拿到了。当然照片可以现场拍照也可以提前上传，上传照片地址 ：https://www.gold.ac.uk/myphoto/ 基本上入学前完成线上注册，提交学生卡上的照片和准备好到校注册需要的文件就可以了。 注意：语言班和预科的学生也需要到校注册。本科大二，大三的学生只需要线上注册就可以了。 问：注册完后需要做些什么准备呢? 答：当你完成线上注册后，自己专业的department将会发邮件通知您入学后将会需要参加的induction和welcome party。在induction的时候，课表和要求写的论文等要求就会发送给各位啦。
