Many thanks for your continued support with our February 2025 and September 2025 intakes, As mentioned in the December issue, I would like to share an update on the transition of awarding body for our programmes from the University of Warwick to University College Birmingham.

The only change is the degree awarding body

Currently some of our programmes are accredited and awarded by the University of Warwick (UoW) whilst others are accredited and awarded by University College Birmingham (UCB). We have agreed with UoW that, starting from September 2025, all programmes currently accredited and awarded by UoW will gradually transition towards being accredited and awarded by UCB.

目前，我们的部分课程由华威大学（UoW）认证和授予，而其他课程则由伯明翰大学学院（UCB）认证和授予。我们已与华威大学达成协议，从 2025 年 9 月起，目前由华威大学认证和颁发学位的所有课程将逐步过渡到由伯明翰大学学院认证和颁发。

There will be no change to the programmes themselves, which have always been designed, managed and taught entirely by UCB staff and delivered at UCB’s Birmingham city centre campus, loved by our students from all over the world.

The only change will be that, once a programme has transitioned, it will be accredited by UCB and students graduating from that programme will receive a UCB degree.
