January 2025 Maintenance Increase - University of Lincoln

Dear Valued Partner,

A warm hello from the University of Lincoln.

We would like to remind you that students joining the University of
Lincoln in January that require a Student visa to study in the UK should
submit their application as soon as possible.

Currently, as a UKVI requirement the amount of money students need to
show that they have to support themselves during their studies, known as
the maintenance requirement, is £1,023 per month of their course (up to
a maximum of 9 months).

For visa applications made on or after 2 January 2025, the maintenance
requirement is increasing to £1,136 per month of their course (up to a
maximum of 9 months).

To support students, we have created a step-by-step guide on applying for a Student visa on ourwebsite.
The guide contains helpful information on how to prepare financial
evidence, completing the visa application form, and attending a visa
appointment.
