根据2016年最新QS全球大学学科排名显示 大学建筑与建筑环境专业入围全球50强 土木工程和结构工程排名全球前100名 化学工程、计算机科学和信息系统全球排名前200 在2015年澳大利亚高校科研实力评估中 工程与建筑环境学院奖得五星评级，其中在工程学、土木工程、电气工程、电子工程、资源工程和冶金等领域的科研水平超过世界平均水平; 化学工程和机械工程两个专业的教学满意度全澳第一; 计算机科学和建筑学两个专业的教学质量全澳前三。 工程管理(Construction Management)得到五家专业协会的认可 包括 澳大利亚建筑协会 (AIB) 澳大利亚工程计量师协会 (AIQS) 澳大利亚建筑测量师协会 (AIBS) 特许建筑师协会 (CIB) 皇家特许计量师协会 (RICS) 同时它也是全澳认可度最高的学位 实践实习 除了具备专业教学团队之外，纽大工程与建筑环境学院还提供给学生很多实践机会，工程学和工程管理学的学生在学位的最后一年会分别有12周和16周的在岗实习，有机会参与到与产业相关的实际项目中，积累实战经验，与此同时，学院还定期邀请相关领域的领头人举行研讨课培养学生职业领导力。 毕业生就业率 工程与建筑环境学院的毕业生就业率，在新南威尔士州所有大学中排名前两位。86%的学生在毕业后会被国内或全球性公司聘用，其中工程学的毕业生就业率高达95%，工程管理专业的毕业率达90%。
