MA Education students are well-placed to submit applications to the government's apprenticeship scheme, where they qualify for Qualified Teacher Status by working in a paid role at a school.
Doing the MA Education means students can evidence knowledge of the UK education system. Our programme of school visits also introduces students to local schools - currently the Mayflower School in Plymouth has a former international student now working for them through that scheme. The University can also assist students to secure part-time work as Teaching Assistants in local schools.
Many MA Education graduates return to their home countries, as they are already qualified teachers, and complete the MA Education to enhance their promotion prospects.
