UCIC Pre-Foundation Program UC International College is offering the Pre-Foundation Program in collaboration with three local Christchurch public schools: Kaiapoi High School, Christchurch Girls' High School, and Christchurch Boys' High School. Following the 1.5-year NCEA program at one of the high schools, students can enrol in an 8-month foundation course at UCIC. Successful completion of the foundation course leads to a UC Bachelor's degree. For more details, please contact UCIC. |  | Accelerated Pathway to BE(Hons) UC is offering an accelerated pathway for high achieving international students (living outside of New Zealand) who are pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours. Students with a strong academic background in STEM subjects can gain their BE(Hons) in as little as 3.25 years – versus the standard 4 years, resulting in reduced fees and less time away from home. Applicants are automatically considered during the admission evaluation process. Applicants will have two weeks to accept the scholarship offer if selected. Almost 65% of new international students starting a business degree in S1 2025 received an award. They are applied as a tuition fee reduction and can be held alongside the UC High Achievers Scholarships. Eligibility is automatically assessed, with no need to submit a separate application. Applications for MHealSc (Nursing) 2026 Due to a large number of applications and a limited number of clinical placements, applications will close early on 1 August 2025. Applicants serious about studying this programme should complete their application with all required documents including an up-to-date English language assessment before the application deadline. Please note that applicants need to supply evidence of IELTS (Academic) 7 with no individual score below 7 or an alternative English language assessment, approved by Executive Dean of Health. | Halls of Residence applications close on 1 May 2025 for Semester 2 start. For S1 2026 start, online applications open on 1 August and close on 24 September 2025. If not provided in time, the application will automatically be withdrawn and you will need to submit a new application to be assessed again. |
