Dear Colleagues,

⚠ All UniSQ physical campuses and sites will close from 12:00pm on Wednesday 5 March 2025 until at least midnight Sunday 9 March 2025. We appreciate your understanding and will keep you updated as the situation evolves.

You may have seen media reports of the current unfolding weather situation in Queensland, and we would like to share with you an update to allay any concerns around the safety of our students and our ability to provide continued support to students and agent partners during this period.

UniSQ is closely monitoring the impact of Tropical Cyclone Alfred and taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and wider community.

• All staff remain available and are working remotely—there is no impact on our ability to support agents, students, and applications.
• Scheduled classes, along with student support services, will transition to online delivery from 6am Thursday 6^th of March 2025. Mandatory on-campus classes – including laboratories – will be rescheduled. Students will be advised to check their StudyDesk for course-specific information.
• All on-campus services and facilities, including the shuttle bus, retail, library and iConnect physical service points, will be unavailable during this period. 
• The admissions and recruitment teams are still operational and continue to process applications as usual.

Despite campus closures, UniSQ’s support operations remain fully functional. Our team is working remotely, and we continue to provide full support to our international agents, applicants, and students.
