Reminders for January 2024 intake

Airport transfer service

For any students who haven't already booked on it's not too late to book onto the airport transfer service on Friday 12 January and Thursday 18 January 2024 from Heathrow airport.

January orientation

International and EU students orientation will be taking place from mid January 2024. There will be lots of fun workshops and events for new students to join to help them settle into life at UWE  Bristol

Starting block

Don't forget that Starting Block is available for all students joining us in January. Starting block is a series of activities that help students get to know their teaching team and course mates and build and develop their skills.

There are lots of helpful online events available for students such as Communicating with your Lecturers, How to Manage your Time plus many more.

To access Starting Block, students will need to complete their university registration in MYUWE.

Online English Test

Our online English testing will start up again on Wednesday 17 January 2024 for students who have applied to us for the September 2024 intake and need to meet the English Language conditions of their offer. Any students who are eligible to take the test will be sent an invitation to register.

BA(Hons) Filmmaking

This is a highly competitive course with a large volume of applications each year. We operate a 'gathered field' approach to ensure a fair admissions process and enable us to offer places to the strongest applicants in each cycle. To do this, we will review all applications after the UCAS equal consideration deadline, rather than at the point they are submitted.

MA Wildlife Filmmaking

The deadline for applications for this course is 14 February 2024. Interviews will typically be held from March to June, depending on the number of applications we receive.
