With a focus on technology, sustainability and practical experience, the University of York is now offering seven new Masters courses within the Faculty of Social Sciences. These new courses have been launched across our Department of Education, Department of Economics and Related Studies, School for Business and Society and York Law School.The Department of Education are ranked joint 60th in the world for Education in the QS World Rankings by subject, 2024 MA Artificial Intelligence and Technology-Enhanced LearningDesigned for professionals and recent graduates with an interest in educational technology. It’s ideal for educators looking to develop their digital practices as well as technologists looking to develop their understanding of pedagogy.Applicants should hold, or expect to hold a 2:2 undergraduate degree or equivalent in either Education or Computer Science.Career Opportunities: Education advisor, Learning designer, Teacher, E-learning manager.Course fee: £25,900The School for Business and Society is a UK top 30 department for Management research according to the Times Higher Education ranking of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 MSc Business AnalyticsBecome a competent analytics professional using artificial intelligence, statistics and operational research to tackle complex business and societal challenges.Applicants should hold, or expect to hold a 2:2 undergraduate degree or equivalent with experience of computer programming and quantitative methods.Career Opportunities: Business analyst, analytics engineer, data scientist, policy analyst.Course fee: £31,900 MSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation ManagementCombine practical entrepreneurial and management skills with support from expert faculty and industry connections to make a difference in management, society or your own ventures.Applicants should hold, or expect to hold a 2:2 undergraduate degree or equivalent.Career Opportunities: Research and Development Management, Business/Innovation consultant, Social venture management.Course fee: £31,080 MSc Logistics and Supply Chain ManagementWith a focus on operations, logistics and supply-chain management, this programme equips students with the skills required to navigate the complexities of the global business landscape.Applicants should hold, or expect to hold a 2:2 undergraduate degree or equivalent.Career Opportunities: Supply Chain and logistics management, Operations management, sustainability specialist.Course fee: £31,080The Department of Economics and Related Studies are joint 14th in the UK for research in the Times Higher Education ranking of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 MSc Sustainable FinanceThis course provides key elements to working in this new exciting area of finance. You'll experience and learn an analytical and robust approach to decision-making with sustainability at its heart.Applicants should hold, or expect to hold a 2:2 undergraduate degree or equivalent with experience in one or more modules containing some statistics/maths/economics/finance/physics/engineering content.Career Opportunities: Financial analyst, Investment manager, Energy Analyst, Renewable energy consultant, risk manager.Course fee: £33,700 This new programme forms part of our Finance Masters suite which also includes the existing courses in the Department of Economics, Department of Mathematics and the School for Business and Society.
